whitewater festival

The North Fork Championship is moving to a new home this year in Smiths Ferry. We extend a huge thank-you to Crouch for a decade of unforgettable debauchery and for hosting us all these years.

The festival hub will be based at Wellington Snow Park & Campground, conveniently located adjacent to the take-out of the Cabarton section of the North Fork and approximately two miles upstream from the Upper Five put-in.

Wellington Campground offers basic camping amenities and will have food trucks throughout the event. Just across the street, Cougar Mountain Lodge serves meals and offers a small selection of groceries.

For those seeking a camping experience away from the main festivities, a quiet camping option is available. Please email us for details.

Cell service is limited throughout the North Fork corridor, so arrive prepared with a plan, resuable coffee mug, and cash.

For the privilege of hosting this event on Idaho Hwy 55 we need to minimize our traffic impact to the river corridor. We can best do this if, as much as possible, we all camp together at the festival or quiet camping sites we have designated and utilize shuttles - we appreciate your help in making this happen and ensuring the future of NFC!
